Wool felt gasket material :
Composition - Fiber types :
Wool felt is the preferred gasket material. Wool fiber is ideal and suitable for
making gasket in many ways. Wool felt is a natural and environment friendly
material, it can absorb oil and other liquid. We are manufacturer of Wool felt
gasket material, it is made in sheet and roll then cut to size as per customer order.
Other many synthetic fiber can also be blended and used in manufacturing like polyester and poly viscose.
Density / Hardness: Its Hardness is categorized in density starting from 0.18 to
0.25 Grams per cubic cm as Soft felt gasket, 0.32 to 0.36 Grams/cm3 medium hard
as semi rigid felt gasket, compact gasket material as hard woollen felt and extra
hard are high density having 0.44 grams/cm3 or more which are stiff and
can be bend be pressure only. More higher density can be manufactured
upon request.
Thickness:
Felt gasket is manufactured and supplied in different thickness from 1 mm to 30 mm or more.
